First make sure your file is set up for CMYK or Spot Colors. This article explains how to do this along with other helpful tips If there are bleeds, be sure that the art extends beyond the paste board.
Once your publisher file is complete and ready. It's time to make the PDF. Under the file menu go to "Save as PDF or XPS".
If that option is not available, Microsoft offers a free download that lets you convert Publisher or Word documents into PDF or XPS. Get the download HERE.
Next click the "Change" button 
Select "Commercial Press" and then click Print Options
 In the Print Options window select the paper size (note: if you have bleeds, select "Custom" make sure you add 1 inch to the width and height) in the lower right is the area for Printer's marks. Put checks in all three boxes.
 Then click OK. This will bring you back to the publish window. Now just click Publish and your PDF will be created. It is ready for us to print. |
